课程内容概要：
    文化人类学的硕士课程主要要求学生掌握本专业的经典著作以及作者的学术思想背景。在此基础上让学生熟练文化人类学的基本体系、学术定位、代表作中所提炼出来的基本概念、方法和理论。课程主要分如下内容：
    1、精读：经过指导教授推荐，阅读人类学经典著作。
    2、以研讨会的形式对阅读的课本进行分章解读，之后进行综述。
    3、指导教授之后对阅读中存在的问题进行指教，并在更大的知识体系范畴内给学生讲述该阅读内容以及关键概念的体系和知识体系的定位，以便加深和扩展学生的理解能力。
    4、参加一般性论文或概念性理解的著述工作，体会"著述/理解文化"的人类学命题。
    5、从事作为指导教授研究课题的助手性工作（并非主要内容）。
教学要求：
    除了积极完成硕士课程临近专业课程的作业以外，需要学生在文化人类学专业课方面完成如下工作：
    1、阅读与提炼：硕士课程重点在阅读和理解以及阅读专著的方法。原则上要求学生一个星期阅读一本人类学的经典著作。在这个过程中训练学生掌握如何进行提炼、总结、概括或者复述等一些列有关阅读理解的铺垫性工作。学生针对每部著作都要写阅读笔记。
    2、表达与理解：在完成上一个环节基础上，加深学生在理解方面的能力。主要的做法是，通过"Seminar"的形式，导师针对学生的阅读进行个别的、专门的学术性指导。
    3、作为正式学习成果，每个期末必须完成1-2篇有代表性的阅读报告（3万字左右）
    4、部分地参与指导教授的科研工作，基本掌握实地考察的基本态度和方法，从参与导师的田野工作的过程中学会"动手"。其中包括录像、摄影、速记、计算机、当地语言的应用等常规方法。
